Aislinn Hamilton Cruise Ship Drug Arrest - Cocaine and Marijuana on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines Explorer of the Seas

On Thursday, April 24, 2014, cruise ship passenger Aislinn Hamilton, 33, from New York was arrested as Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines' Explorer Of The Seas was returning to Bayonne, New Jersey from a cruise to Bermuda.

Authorities report that Aislinn Hamilton had the drug marijuana hidden in her underwear and the drug cocaine in her luggage. She was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.

After smelling a strong odor of marijuana during their processing of Hamilton, agents decided to do a search. During their search for drugs, agents recovered six grams of marijuana, 0.1 grams of cocaine and a marijuana grinder.
